1. Personal information we collect
EarthLight does not collect personal information. There is no sign-up, and we never ask for your name, email, phone number or location. The app does not request camera, location, photo or contacts permissions.
2. What the app stores
The places you light up (countries, states and cities, and their brightness) and your settings (map theme, language and so on) are stored only on your device. They are never sent anywhere, and the developer cannot see them.
3. Advertising
EarthLight shows ads. Ad providers may use your advertising ID and device information to serve ads and measure their performance.

You can reset your advertising ID or turn off personalized ads in your device settings.
4. Sharing
When you tap Share, the map image the app creates is passed to the app you choose (Instagram, Threads, WhatsApp and so on). EarthLight does not store or upload that image.
5. Third parties
EarthLight does not share your information with third parties.
6. Deleting your data
Use Clear all (🗑) in the app, or "Turn off all lights" in Settings, to delete your saved map. Uninstalling the app also deletes it.
7. Children
EarthLight is not directed at children under 13.
